He had been reappointed as Independent Commissioner of Bank BTPN (Subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation) in September 2019 after serving the Bank with the same position from April, 2009 – January, 2019. He completed his term as Independent Commissioner and Chairman of the Risk Monitoring Committee of the Bank in April 13, 2023. He was also President Commissioner of PT. Sriboga Marugane Indonesia (2016 – 2022). Previously, he was President Commissioner of PT. Sari Melati Kencana/Pizza Hut (2013 – 2016). President Director and Country Head-Wholesale Banking of ING Bank, Jakarta (2000-2009) as well as Managing Director and Country-Head of Bankers Trust Company (1996 – 1999). Prior to that he held the position as Deputy President Director of PT ING Indonesia Bank in Jakarta (1991 – 1996). He has 44 years of professional experience, which he gained from various senior positions at BSB Bank, American Express Bank, Citibank and started his banking career at Indonesia Overseas Bank, Amsterdam in 1979. He obtained a Master degree in Economics from University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
